our farms, our future

We were delighted recently to be successful in a funding bid to the Department for International Development (DFID) for our latest education project.

Our Farms, Our Futures will enable us to work with 10 Bath schools, to generate better understanding of local and global food and farming issues. 

The project, over two years, will explore the international origins of food and the lives and diets of children in Africa, together with questions relating to fair trade, sustainability and ways of taking action. 

The project will combine classroom sessions with visits to farms and will encourage schools to make links with farms and communities in Uganda and Rwanda.
