My name is David Levene. I am 15 years old. I went to Envolve for my work experience placement. I was given work to help in the preparation of The Great Debate, a conference that was happening in a few days. I was kept busy for the two days by Alastair Mumford, who was either rushing about himself or helping me! What surprised me about work experience was that I actually got to do some productive work: I expected to just be doing mail-outs (although I did that too)! The thing I enjoyed most about my work experience was what surprised me: I never felt bored. I always had something to do, and on the 8th July, it was even more enjoyable when The Debate was a big success, reflecting everyone's hard work. The thing I didn't enjoy about working at Envolve was doing a mail-out. Try as they might, the guys at Envolve couldn't make that any more interesting! I thought that my days at Envolve provided excellent experience: it was fun, interesting and lively. I might even volunteer there in the future. Thanks to everyone at Envolve that took the time and effort to help me and made those two days a really great work experience. |
